Once again race fans we are pleased to bring you a race report from the News desk of Diced Motorsports. Tonight DMS hits the Compound banking of Iowa Speedway for 250 laps of door to door racing. That was just the recipe needed to bring some very interesting visitors. Iroc said" they may not be AL Qaeda, but they are definitely other extremists".
Welcome again race fans to another addition of how the Diced roll. Tonight the Boys from DMS hit the high banks of Salem Speedway. This track was built in 1947, what track officials won't tell you is that this also was the only time this track had been surfaced. A light rain early this morning had washed away all evidence of Deaner's win the night before.Some chose to skip this place, teams quoted saying " I'm not bringing a car to the track just to tear it up!" As for the teams that did show up, it was still going to be one bumpy ride.
The DMS Open League will be coming to DuQuoin, Illinois this Wednesday night for some white knuckle racing which is bound to shake up the standings at Dicedmotorsports.com. This one mile track semi oval is going to bring out the drivers who can drive it on the track and the ones that are just trying to make the race without at DNF. This league is open to all that is willing to try to survive it. This will be one hundred percent of Arca race laps and is going to test the will and determination of drivers ability to run the same line time and time again. Make sure to get on TS one hour prior to the 9 EST start to ensure that you are not locked out of the race. Good luck drivers and see you on the track.
The DMS WEST Series followed up last week’s inaugural race here at Salem Speedway last night. With the track some may call too intimidating to tame, not many participants had it in them for this 100 lap race. However, with the reduced field on the track proved that sometimes more is not better. We welcomed some new drivers on the track last night with the appearance of J Mason, LBW once again, and new comer A Waddle.
The Wednesday Open Series traveled through Lebanon, Tennessee for 150 laps of Open League racing. As early qualification results showed; there is always someone that is going to surprise the field at any given race. This night it was newcomer Derek P. Derek busted the field in the mouth with his qualifying run of 29.6. However, as the field could see throughout the race that a fast qualifying setup will only get you through qualification, and with long green flag runs that we had last night proved that you must set a car up to run a full fuel set.
